The small conference, funded by the One Health Platform, deals with behavioral and social science research in the context of environmental health, with a particular focus on how research insights can help address environmental challenges and contribute to both environmental sustainability and human well-being. The event will bring together researchers and representatives from policy and practice to discuss how behavioral and social sciences can inform environmental health policy and support the transfer of research insights into decision-making.

From Insights to Impact: Behavioral and Policy Research for Environmental Health
Date: From Wednesday, November 11, 2026 (starting around 17:00) to Friday, November 13, 2026 (core program ending around 15:30, followed by optional sessions)

The program will include both academic sessions and more application-oriented transfer sessions. You are very welcome to attend both formats. For participants from policy, administration and practice, the transfer sessions may be particularly relevant, as they are intended to focus on concrete applications, practical challenges and policy needs. In addition, the program will include research presentations, panel discussions and interactive break-out or workshop formats to foster exchange across disciplines and between research and application.

We expect to be able to reimburse travel expenses up to a certain amount if needed. Reimbursements will be handled through a travel expense claim process and will require receipts.
