Memberships One Health Platform
The members form the foundation of the One Health Platform. The aim is to unite as broad a community as possible under the umbrella of the platform in order to jointly create a strong One Health research community in Germany. Membership is free of charge and offers numerous benefits, such as the right to submit project and workshop applications to the OHP and the right to participate in all events. The exact requirements for membership can be found in the statutes.
Excerpt from the statutes of the One Health Platform:
§4 Membership
a) Requirements for membership
All publicly funded scientists who are involved in One Health research and/or whose research projects on One Health have undergone an independent scientific review in advance can become members of the OHP. Furthermore, those scientists who have published in peer-reviewed journals on One Health research issues in the past three years (at the time of application for membership) can be granted membership status. In addition, practice representatives (public health services/veterinary services/environmental agencies) who work in the One Health context can become members. Until the zoonoses platform has been fully transferred to the One Health Platform, all members of the ZP are automatically also members of the OHP. New membership applications for this transition period can be sent by e-mail to the office (Münster site).
