Scientific Advisory Board
Tasks and members
The Scientific Advisory Board is the central scientific steering committee of the One Health Platform. It represents the One Health Platform externally and manages day-to-day business together with the administrative office. It performs overarching tasks and makes science-related decisions.
The committee usually meets five times a year. At its meetings, the Scientific Advisory Board makes strategic decisions on the further development of the One Health Platform, develops ideas for shaping One Health research in Germany, acts as the scientific committee for the annual symposium, assesses applications for pilot and collaborative projects and workshops submitted to the One Health Platform by members and supports them once they have been approved.
A short profile of the current members of the Scientific Advisory Board can be found here
The members of the current Scientific Advisory Board were elected by the plenum of the One Health Platform on October 18, 2024, and all members of the One Health Platform present had the active and passive right to vote and determined the composition of the Scientific Advisory Board until the next election in one year's time.
