Travel Grants

Since the health of animals, humans and the environment does not stop at national borders, but is a global challenge, we would like to support the international networking of scientists in the One Health field.

Travel Grants for events

To this end, there are annual travel grants that enable participation in selected One Health Platform events. Up to 10 scholarships can be awarded each year. The next travel grants will be announced in 2025. As soon as further details on the next call for applications are known, you will find them here.

Travel Grants for research

In order to additionally facilitate the exchange of scientific techniques and methods as well as more intensive knowledge transfer and to strengthen international relationships, there are annual travel grants lasting several months. The focus here is on international networking and interdisciplinary exchange in line with the One Health concept. Up to two grants for doctoral students and one postdoctoral grant are awarded each year. The next multi-month travel grants will be announced in 2025. The scholarships are funded by the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF).
