One Health Training Grants

Die One Health Platform fördert den Wissens– und Methodenaustausch zwischen relevanten Fachbereichen der One Health Forschung. Hierzu vergibt die OHP zwei One Health Training Grants pro Jahr. Diese bieten Nachwuchswissenschaftler:innen die Möglichkeit durch einen Gastaufenthalt in einem Labor/ einer Forschungseinrichtung oder bei einem Praxispartner eine neue Methode zu erlernen, Proben- oder Datensätze gemeinsam zu analysieren, Feldproben zu sammeln, neue experimentelle Ansätze zu erproben oder ähnliches.

Mit der One Health Plattform (OHP) soll eine koordinierende, dynamische Struktur geschaffen werden, die die inter- und transdisziplinäre wissenschaftliche Entwicklung im One Health Bereich gemäß der One Health Definition des One Health High Level Expert Panels (OHHLEP) [1] unterstützt, nationale und internationale Förderinitiativen miteinander verknüpft, Impulse setzt und Raum zur Identifizierung von Forschungslücken und -bedarfen gibt.

The members of the One Health Platform already have well-established partnerships worldwide. You will soon find an overview of selected international collaborations.

International

The One Health definition of the One Health High-Level Expert Panel and the first report of the Lancet One Health Commission emphasise once again that the challenges of our time, such as zoonoses, antimicrobial resistance, environmental degradation and climate change, require an integrative, interdisciplinary and transdisciplinary approach to solve.

About us

The health of humans, animals and ecosystems (including the climate) are closely linked. For example, many current threats such as zoonoses (i.e. diseases that can be transmitted between humans and animals), antimicrobial resistance, changes in biodiversity or environmental pollution affect humans, animals and the surrounding environment.

One Health Certificate

Due to the localization of One Health research at the interface of different scientific fields, this field of research places special demands on young scientists. The One Health Certificate of the One Health Platform is intended to support the interdisciplinary training of doctoral students and promote the widest possible qualification for further work in the One Health field.

Members

Die Mitglieder bilden das Fundament der One Health Platform. Ziel ist es eine möglichst breite Gemeinschaft unter dem Dach der Plattform zu vereinen, um gemeinsam eine starke One Health Forschungscommunity in Deutschland zu schaffen. Eine Mitgliedschaft ist kostenfrei und bietet zahlreiche Vorteile, wie das Recht Projekt-und Workshopanträge bei der OHP zu stellen und das Recht an allen Veranstaltungsangeboten teilnehmen zu können. Die genauen Veraussetzungen für eine Mitgliedschaft finden sich in der Satzung.
